Sunday Night’s Alright for Cruising!

The General Lee at Pony Corral Cruise Night

The good folks at the Pony Corral came through once again for the cruisin’ crowd, with another great cruise-in car show.  Everything from General Lee replicas to fully restored Model T’s came out to give this octane-addicted city a taste of its own medicine.

The Datsuns were out again, including this cute lil’ street-ified racer.  I couldn’t find the owner to catch a glimpse under the hood, but according to certain “The Fast & The Furious” fans, the sheer volume of stickers on the back windows must add about 500 horsepower alone.

This little red Datsun 280Z also zipped in to show off its goods.  The owner has lovingly restored everything from the pain to the interior, and dropped in a bigger, newer Nissan engine to give it some extra power.  Let’s hope the little orange ‘wagon in the background gets the same treatment someday…
