It’s only a few more days to the book launch party of “Class of 2009,” and already people are getting excited. Lots of people in Manitoba are excited about the fact that we finally get our own book, and lots more people are stoked to get their hands on a copy. So far, there’s been dozens sold here at home, and some being ordered from as far away as Louisiana and Seattle-and the online store isn’t even set up yet!
So in keeping with yesterday’s promise, here’s more of the great images that you’ll find in the book. Of course, there’s more than just these pictures, but the only way to see them all is to get your own copy. Keep it tuned here to get yours, or follow me at twitter.com/cruisefever.

This 1950’s Chevy Suburban, once a Canadian Army recruiting vehicle, is now a daily driver-even with the original paint!
Clarence’s chop-top Mercury lead-sled is one of the most eye-catching vehicles around, especially with all that purple paint.
This 1958 Pontiac Bonneville was such an immaculate machine that it was, for a time, part of the Gauthier collection.
If you’re going to cruise, cruise in style like this pair of vintage Cadillacs.
“Salmon Pink” isn’t the most popular colour for new cars today, but that’s not to say it wasn’t popular in 1958.
That’s it for today, but drop in again tomorrow to catch more images from our first book, and for a sneak peek at the prizes for Saturday’s book launch!
