On July 20th, 1926, Henry Ford put out the order to develop a new car, replacing the legendary Ford Model T.  Over $100 million was spent to develop a vastly more complex design, the Model A.  Most historians point out that the amount spent was a lot of money back in 1928.  Because here in 2009, we all walk around carrying $100,000,000.   In quarters.
