The rat rod influence sweeping our passion has caused many of us to look down our noses at high-dollar rods. Sadly, this sometimes feels like watching the rednecks in their jacked-up, rusted out pickups sneering at a hand-built Ferrari. Even if something like this ’55 Chevy convertible, with its true flames and TV built into the fibreglass dashboard aren’t your cup of tea, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t admire the hard work that went into it.
