Daily Roddin’: Oldskool ’70s Hot Rods
Hot rod styles and trends have come & gone over the years, but some cars seem to get stuck in an era. The T-Bucket on the left was built in an over-the-top style that hot rodding was known for in the ’70s-cars you would expect to see in a George Trosley comic. On the right is Alan Gingles’ own ’37 Essex pickup truck, which really was built in the ’70s. Slot mag wheels, a Chrysler slant-6 engine, and leftover carpet from your wife’s sewing room bring back the true face of hot rodding at the time.
