Daily Roddin’: Patriotic Painting at American Motors

The last generation of AMC Javelin came with a multitude of options-6 motors to choose from, and four different transmissions. However, the most memorable option was the “Pierre Cardin Interior,” an optional colour and design theme from legendary fashionista Pierre Cardin. From March 1, 1972 until the end of the 1973 model year, 4,152 Javelins were outfitted with the wild coloured seat and doorskin combo.
