Winnipeg World of Wheels sneak preview
Winnipeg World of Wheels opens today, which un-officially opens the car show season. Unlike most shows, this one ain’t free-$9, tickets available at the door or at any Piston Ring location here in town. It’s a small price to pay, considering what you get to see. And while you’re there, look out for the guy with the camera following the A&W Root Bear around-that’s me. I will be there all weekend following the show for A&W’s “Cruisin’ the Dub,” and we’d love to get a shot of you getting a free Root Bear Hug.

This is the third, and shiniest, version of this rat rod Volkswagen Beetle seen on this site. Check out the last incarnation here.
According to legend, this (very) oldskool T-bucket was on the cover of Hot Rod Magazine back in the 50’s.
Well, my cab is here-I gotta jet. Stop by the A&W Booth, pick up a stuffed A&W bear and say hi!
That’s it for today, but click here, here, and here for more World of Wheels coverage. Or, click here to see this year’s MSRA-Rondex Rodarama indoor car show.
And if that’s not enough check out the Facebook group by clicking here. It’s a great chance to meet fellow gearheads, talk shop, and post pictures of your own bitchin’ ride. Best of all, it’s FREE!
