Daily Rodding: Plymouth GTX hardtop

The Plymouth brand might be a distant memory now, but in 1969 it was synonamous with big, aggressive cars like this GTX.  If the hood markings are to be believed, this olive-green hardtop is sporting a 440 big block V8 under those flat-black racing stripes.

Daily Rodding: Chevy SSR and Dodge Challenger at cruise night

Who says old cars are where it’s at?  These retro-styled musclecars (muscletrucks?) have some of yesteryear’s great looks with today’s great technology.  Because honestly, how useful is that big-a** Hemi engine without electronic traction control?

Daily Rodding: MG Convertible

Although you’d have a hard time getting a new MG into Canada these days, there was a time you could walk into an MG dealership and walk out with a brand new convertible.  Despite the stereotypical British wiring, there’s still plenty of these little things buzzing around the nation, especially here in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.

Daily Rodding: 2010 Camaro “Indy 500″ Pace Car

Now, I’m sure this isn’t the one that actually paced the race–they’re most likely in a museum hanging from the museum so human hands never touch them again.  However, I have a feeling this orange beast will still be a sought-after car in the future.

Abandoned Vehicles

“Eyesores,” “Tragedies,” and “Opportunities” are how many people would describe these abandoned vehicles on the Canadian Prairies and the mountains of BC.  However, the rust and decay that has set into these old heaps has transformed many of them into a new kind of organic beauty.  Simultaneously, they are a preservation of what they once [...]

Customer Appreciation Day Pt. 2

As promised yesterday, we have more pics of the Customer Appreciation Day show from a while back.  The show attracted everything from roadsters and street rods to classy muscle cars like this ’66 Pontiac GTO.  If you’re a subscriber, it’s worth checking out!
