Daily Roddin’: 1937 Ford Coupe

1937 Ford 4-door Sedan

As the thirties (and the depression) went on, most auto makers tried to innovate their way out of the mess as one way of staying afloat.  Some were more successful than others, which is why we have the “Big Three” instead of the “Big Two, Five Middle Sized, Ten that are kinda in between, and fifty small” auto makers.  This 1937 Ford 4-door Sedan shows a dramatic change in style and decorative touches from the Model A’s that predate the depression-most specifically, the swooping grille, kinda-integrated headlights, and a strip of chrome trim that goes down the entire side of the car.
