Daily Roddin’: Bienvenue!

Yellow Citroen sedan @ Cruise-In Downtown, Winnipeg MB 2009

Unfortunately for the French, their cars never seemed to catch on in North America.  Chrysler dealers made a bleak attempt to sell Peugot back in the ’80s that had the long-term success as parachute pants, but even Yugo had a bigger presence during their brief stint on this side of the pond.  That’s why it’s great to see cool, ahead-of-their-time cars like Citroen appearing at car shows.  Not only do they break the monotony of the Pony Cars and Model A’s that dominate the cruising scene, but they also provide us with a hint of the European awesomeness that we could have had.
