Daily Roddin’: Thunderbird Special

This is an engine we’ve seen a lot of, but haven’s seen much information on: This is the Ford Thunderbird Special V8, as seen in several Ford Not-Thunderbirds around town. I’m assuming it was an available option, although the internet won’t confirm or deny anything for me. If you know about this motor, please help us out by leaving a comment below.
