Wet (but not wild) Weekend in Ottawa
Although it wasn’t as bad as in Manitoba, there was more than enough water to go around on the streets of Ottawa. However, the rain didn’t stop a few determined hot rodders from making it out to Carling Avenue last Saturday night for the first Monkey Joe’s cruise night of the season.
Sunday, however, was a different story. The rain gave up around noon, making it safe for the ombrophobic crowd to attend the GM Motorama Show & Shine at Myers Kanata Chev-Buick-GMC. The show was organized by the Highway 43 Car Club, although the Capital Corvette Club staged a pretty decent invasion.
